Collection of your Information

Here & Now Health collects information about you for several reasons:

1. Your name, address, telephone number, and date of birth, are collected when you make a booking into one of our seminars in order that we may contact you and identify you when you use our services.
2. You may be asked to provide other non-identifying details including demographic and other information about you and the reasons for attending our workshops and seminars. This information will be entered into our database in order that we might improve our services. From time to time, Here & Now Health may also conduct confidential client surveys in order to improve services. These surveys will be non-identifiable and non-compulsory.
3. In the event that a member from Here & Now Health refers you to another agency for further help and support, no information will be supplied to that organisation unless specifically requested by you. Your relationship with service providers at the referred agency is entirely independent of your relationship with any practitioners associated with Here & Now Health.

Storage & Disposal of your Information

All information collected about you is stored and disposed under the guidelines set by the APS (Australian Psychological Society). All personal, identifying information collected when signing up for workshops and seminars is kept confidential and securely stored. All identifiable information will be destroyed in accordance with legal guidelines (generally 7 years after file closure). Your service provider can give you further information about the retention and disposal of files in your particular program. Any information stored electronically will remain in the database in a non-identifiable form.

Access to your Information

You have a general right to access personal information Here & Now Health holds about you, and to amend information that is incorrect. Pursuant to the National Privacy Principles, there are some instances in which access to information will not be allowed, for example, access will not be permitted to information about any other person, including your family members or your spouse/ partner.
