I offer a range of counselling strategies including Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), but across all of these modalities, I operate from a Mindfulness perspective, encouraging clients to be 'aware' of their circumstances and to utilise this awareness to avoid operating on 'auto-pilot'.
I have a special interest in anxiety and panic disorders, phobias, and other mood related disorders including depression. I have spent a lot of time working with children (aged 4-16) on a range of issues including anxiety, school fears and worries, study and exam stress, bullying and behavioural issues. I have a passion for helping families to function to the best of their ability, to be happy, and to work together for the sake of the whole family unit.
